Two Firefox Shortcuts

Here are two great keyboard shortcuts in Firefox:

  1. To go right to the search box in the upper right, press command + k (on a Mac; I would assume control + k on a PC, although I’m not sure).
  2. To open those search results in a new tab, press alt + enter.

Confirmed- for PC, you do press control + k to go to the search box. (Alt + enter takes you to the new search result in a new tab in PC too!)

    Thanks!

My favorite for PC is alt+d to get to the address bar.

I knew about CTRL+K, but didn’t know about ALT+Enter. Thanks!

    I also didn’t know ALT+D – I’ve always used CTRL+L for the same thing.

Thanks Matt, I’m sure I’ll use this often.
